Directions from North Jersey
- NJ Turnpike South to Exit 9 (New Brunswick) and bear right after toll booth.
- Take Route 18 North to Route 1 South. Stay on Route 1 for approximately 20 miles, pass Princeton and the Quakerbridge Mall. Approximately one mile past I-95 intersection, bear left to stay on Route 1
- Go approximately 5 miles and take exit marked “Capital Complex, Last Exit Before Toll”.
- Turn right at light at the end of the off ramp.
- Turn left at next light (Market Street).
- Stay in left lane to enter Route 29 North.
- Go approximately ¾ mile and take the Calhoun Street exit, following the Memorial Drive exit.
- Make a right at first light onto West State Street. The office is on the left, across from the museum. There is parking on the street and in the rear.
Directions from South Jersey
- Take 295 North to 129/Trenton exit.
- Take ramp, bearing left onto Route 129.
- Take 129 to the split for Route 29 and follow signs (red) and bear left to take the Tunnel.
- Pass the cemetery (on right side) and go through the Tunnel. Pass Waterfront Park and continue through two lights. After the second light (Kat Man Du), travel Route 29 North for approximately one mile to the Calhoun Street exit, following the Memorial Drive exit.
- Take the Calhoun Street exit.
- Make a right at first light onto West State Street. The office is on the left, across from the museum. There is parking on the street and in the rear.
Alternate Route
- NJ Turnpike To Exit 7A.
- Take 195 West to Trenton.
- Follow 195 West, which becomes 129.
- Take 129 to the split for Route 29 and follow signs (red) and bear left to take the Tunnel.
- Pass the cemetery (on right side) and go through the Tunnel. Pass Waterfront Park and continue through two lights. After the second light (Kat Man Du), travel Route 29 North for approximately one mile to the Calhoun Street exit, following the Memorial Drive exit.
